The NBA of the 1980s and ’90s featured the marketing of its players through unique ad campaigns like posters. The themes were original and catchy, oftentimes showcasing a player’s natural talent in a unique setting. Nike broke the mold when it featured an outstretched Michael Jordan and coupled that image with a quote from poet William Blake (‘No bird soars too high, If he soars with his own wings’) in its classic ‘Wings’ poster. The poster remains a cultural icon so Upper Deck Authenticated added a twist with a Jordan autograph and a Hall of Fame inscription. The print measures an impressive 72″ x 23″ and is the envy of every wall it adorns. Jordan has autographed and inscribed ‘2009 HOF’ on this limited edition (123) ‘Wings’ designed print in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
